You’d hope more tickets for Wales - Italy game will be sold off the back of the Scotland & Ireland performances. Yes, people want wins but they also want a team that stays in the fight and gives a reason to believe and this Wales team is doing that in spite of the political chaos off the field.

Genuinely nice to see Dewi Lake give a post-match interview without looking like he’s on the verge of breaking down in tears. Plenty to be positive about this week.

I’ve seen enough to make me believe that Wales can finish the 6Ns with a win. Italy will obviously be big favourites but it’s a winnable game at home. Wales might lack the overall quality of other teams but there’s no lack of heart or endeavour. We’re getting there.

Jiffy on comms yesterday referring to Rhys Carré as “Rhys Carr” still tickles me 😅

Thought the lock pairing of Daf Jenkins and Ben Carter were excellent for Wales today. Both of them got through a mountain of work in the loose and tight and were Wales’ joint top tacklers. Also the narrative that the lineout would suffer without Adam Beard was overblown.

However that’s an opportunity missed to beat a Scotland side that was rattled at 20-5 down. That Darcy Graham try was a killer. Shows what can happen you switch off for a few seconds at this level.
