Everything is a f-cking "democrat hoax" with this buffoon whenever he can't bear to accept the reality that his policies are failing.

Trump is showing Americans how disengaged he is and where his priorities lie as he throws these tone deaf parties, golfs on the taxpayer dime, and continues construction on his Mar-a-Lago themed "ballroom" while millions of Americans lose access to aid and as the shutdown persists.

And while Trump spends his time golfing, throwing lavish parties and taking a wrecking ball to the White House in order to build an invasive and increasingly expensive vanity project in his honor, his attorneys are simultaneously fighting relentlessly in court to halt funding for SNAP benefits.

They're even using their centralized power to attempt to control the narrative and blame their political opponents for this shutdown and all of its consequences; choosing to focus most of their energy on politicizing this outcome rather than resolving it.

They have consolidated power throughout every branch and agency of the federal government, in spite of disingenuous claims like they aren't really "in charge."

The Trump administration is lining the pockets of a small number of political and wealthy elites while the rest of Americans suffer under the economic tyranny of the Republican controlled government.

Per usual, they've been scapegoating the underprivileged and the marginalized instead of addressing the root causes of economic inequality and poverty, instead of holding accountable the billionaires and kleptocrats in government who are literally taking from the poor to give to the rich.

And they've been very effective at riling up their base by overseeing massive campaigns on platforms like X where conservative "influencers," caricatures and spokespeople for the administration are blaming the needy and the struggling, immigrants and minority groups, "lazy" handout seekers, etc...

Republicans don't want to fund food assistance and have been capitalizing off of this government shutdown to spread anti-SNAP propaganda; relying on antiquated stereotypes and even racist tropes to persuade their voters that the entire program is a waste of funds and should be ended permanently.

A never ending surge of lawless outsiders and cultural boogeymen that you've been compelled to distrust, fear and blame for this nation's problems.

Socialism for the rich and rugged individualism for the poor is their secret motto, and you're the mascot.

These crooks are sitting comfortably and are quite content with the fact that they've successfully diverted your attention away from their corruption and towards the myriad folk devils and violent, "radical left" threats that are lurking around every corner.

Wake the f-ck up conservatives!

Republicans rely heavily on grievance politics and culture wars to distract you from their pickpocketing; insisting that the blame for your problems rests solely on fellow Americans who suffer from financial hardship brought about by their own policies.

But they cannot refrain from criticizing the poor, the sick, the needy, immigrants, minorities, and vulnerable groups because their mindless resentment is fueled and sustained by a vast network of right-wing propaganda and by the many culture war hang-ups that MAGA echoes across social media.

Instead of condemning the poor for stealing their tax dollars, maybe they should turn their attention towards the massive bailouts, safety nets, subsidies, tax breaks, incentives and "handouts" for corporations, foreign governments and the rich.

They should be directing their attention towards the Republican policies that have been the driving forces behind worsening socioeconomic inequalities, poverty outcomes and wealth redistribution for decades

Instead of being distracted by the right's culture wars, Trump voters should be blaming the billionaires, corporations, and kleptocrats in power who compound these problems; who profit from economic inequality and exploitation.

Blaming the poor, underserved and marginalized ignores systemic issues. Poverty isn't a moral failing, it's an economic trap

Food assistance is also an investment in stability. The program actually reduces future dependency—especially for children.

Instead of scapegoating the poor and disadvantaged, Republicans could, you know, address the root problems.

Every dollar from SNAP generates between $1.50-$1.80 for the economy. This helps support local businesses and creates more jobs.

SNAP is a safety net, not a handout.

Most beneficiaries of SNAP use it temporarily, not as some permanent crutch like conservatives claim.

Contrary to MAGA propaganda, a vast percentage of SNAP recipients work, are disabled, elderly, or children

SNAP fraud is extremely rare, it's one of the most efficient government programs. This contradicts the baseless right wing talking point that the SNAP program is rife with fraud.

They also minimize black experiences by claiming that racism is over, that anti-white discrimination is most prevalent, that any talk of racial injustice can be dismissed as "woke."

They insist that they are victims of suppression. This is ironically a consequence of them thriving within an unjust system for so long—a system that has also predisposed them to believe that *they* are being persecuted when the structures in place face resistance.

They fail to recognize historic inequities and perceive things like fairness and diversity as threats to the traditional hierarchy.

That said, according to MAGA, they're the *real* victims of oppression. They're merely reacting to a system of tyranny that's suffocating *them*. Equality amounts to persecution, addressing past injustices amounts to an assault on *their* rights.

That's what you get when the regime is more interested in revising history than educating Americans about the US and its past.

When they're more interested in dismantling the arts than encouraging free expression.

That's what you get when the Trump administration is employing textbook fascistic strategies by suppressing the arts and intellectuals, whitewashing history, defunding arts programs and education, seizing control over academics, cutting funds for scientific research and grants...

Well, that's what you get when the federal government has been targeting exhibits at Museums that educate people about aspects of American history like slavery and Jim Crow. Exhibits that have been deemed too "woke" for their focus on uncomfortable historical truths.

He inherited a growing economy twice that two Democrats were forced to revitalize after an economic crisis shocked the nation at the end of the last two Republican admins

And both times he mismanaged that economy while claiming credit for the positive trends that first carried over into his term.

Meaning more profit seeking and denied claims, higher costs and skyrocketing premiums, unequal access to care and less accessibility for low-income individuals and families, not to mention the conflicts of interest and lining of pockets, hospital shutdowns, and of course, a lot more dead poor people

When Republicans finally put this whole fiasco behind them, they'll just continue lying about their commitment to a "better" healthcare plan or instead of universal healthcare, we'll get the universal privatization of healthcare.
