Yeeeeah, a lot of indies dupe mainstream, but there's no dupes for an indie😂 Oh well, I got my stock up on the one I like and need to test samples and start getting rid of (selling) them because I have way too many/spent way too many dollars on them last autumn.

I did not expect that I'd fall in love with an Anjou pear scent, of all things.

I'm newbie to liking perfume, so this is new for me, but not unexpected since it's an indie brand. Indies are so fickle with discontinuations. Oh well, at least I was able to stock up.

I'm super newb to perfumes because I thought I couldn't use them my entire life because allergic. Turns out indie oils are usually fine so I went crazy with samples. Unfortunately indie perfumes are even more fickle with discontinuations than mainstream😭

I got super into indie perfume oil samples last autumn because I realized I'm not allergic to most of them, unlike alcohol based or mainstream perfumes. Got a ton of samples and so far have only really loved this one😂 Though I still have a lot of samples I haven't tested.

I previously bought a 10ml bottle, so that should keep me for a very long time. But of course what I like got discontinued.

of course the one perfume oil I fell in love with got discontinued. at least I was able to snag two drams (about 8ml total) in the clearance sale. got the last two at that.

I just looked and the first subscription plan is $49. I think I must have looked at it in the past and thought that was the cheapest option and rules it out. Derp. Square might be the way to go then.

OH. Ok, for some reason I thought you HAD to do a monthly subscription and that it was somewhat costly. Good to know, I need to look into this more then. Plus it's good if I ever want to sell in person.

I feel like Etsy would eat up so much in fees because some of the items I'd be selling are really low cost. It does seem to be convenient for certain product types, though.

I didn't understand either until I did the exercises at the start of Draw a Box (free art exercises). Took me a while to get the hang of it and I still default to wrist though.

I know they have a free tier, but 5 items is not many

I will likely have to yolo and throw together a few low effort zines myself to use for the simple cut & fold methods b/c I doubt I'll get works appropriate for that style. We'll see.

Once I have everything and get my site set up, my goal is to release 1 tutorial per week! It might be a lil ambitious, but we'll see how it goes.

Sorry I've been pestering so hard about works to bind. I can't start planning the project in depth until I've got all the works to bind because I need to match the work with a binding style and make sure I have one per style so I can make the tutorials.

As I've mentioned before, interiors must be b&w! Color cover ok.

No worries!! And I'll be aiming for one tutorial a week once I start, so shipping will be spaced out and hopefully won't be too bad. I'll cross that bridge when I get there, haha!
