The fact that the man who murdered a CEO is plastered across news media with unlimited resources dedicated to his capture, despite in the meantime over 100 people have been murdered in the US since that shooting should tell you that yes, rich people are considered more valuable than you.

Loving this energy from protesters in Georgia. And the spirit with which the S. Korean people said “nope” to Yoon’s hilarious bad attempt at a coup. If only the American people had this much temerity…

Good time to remind people what a journalist is/isn't. A journalist:
- has to do reporting of some kind (data, archival, source-based)
- has to fact-check that reporting
- is held to a higher legal standard than op-eds, essayists, commentators (generally can't share an opinion w/o documentation)
