Fun fact, the game was designed around the 56k modem and is a very light packet load as a result. You can play the game using a tethered 3g cell phone for hours and use maybe 12MB of data if you're going heavy with it.

Usually when I start getting that error, I usually find that I get the password mixed up in the wrong one since it's so *helpfully* (/s) labeled, maybe even check the PoL site itself to reset the password if it still seems like it is giving me trouble.

I feel like most people expect a game to immediately tell them how they feel is right and true and correct, without any challenge to that belief even if in the end it affirms them and gives them reason to believe in what they do. They simply want to be good and their enemies bad.

Assuming in good faith they even played it, it feels like a media literacy thing. Where <x> character says <y>, <x> is portrayed as not a blatant villain, so therefore the game must be condoning <y>, not realizing that saying <y> is actually setting up <z> that gives the reader reason to object <y>.

Evil Zone is incredibly basic, featuring one context-sensitive Attack-Button. What it lacks in substance, it makes up for in style, with a peak-90's anime aesthetic, that absolutely nails all the shounen tropes!

Not sure how to break it to you but... yeah, that's what the majority of most people do in recent years.

You still have some bar/pub/club crawlers, and people who might go to a game store as a third space, but even before covid, post-work socializing had been way down.

My head canon is that at the end of her quest, she is like "wow, fuck y'all, especially that guy who laughed." and then managed to find her way back without any help. It's why you never see her again after that quest.
