Sires are the Male Parent, usually what horse breeders count for a race horse's pedigree, while the Dame is the female Parent.

Example: Gold Ship's Sire is Stay Gold. But when talking about pedigree, they only count the fathers so his Damsire (grandfather on the mother side) is Mejiro McQueen.

So the written rules of #umamusume is that if the Umas share a sire, they're not related, but if they share a dame, they are. This is why Biwa Hayahide and Narita Brian are related but Gold Ship and Orfevre aren't. This doesn't stop Umas who past life were blood related to connect.

That said, I'm still taking requests, but not free ones.

I'm going on a minor hiatus from working on short form work so i can finally focus on long form content. There's so many stories i want to work on or rework due to new lore it hurts.

Plus i want to properly give Aether and Rover their flowers and give them one shots in the future.

Just listening to them made me realize how well I handled writing the topic vs most webtoon writers, plus how absolutely cooked that one commenter was on said story. Much love to @ariatherose.bsky.social for having my back with that.

Not only did they remove that notice btw, but they released an Uma that literally goes Yandere and loses her grip on reality to the point it fully affects the player and they give in to their "instincts".
