Influencers spend so much time airbrushing and polishing their appearances that they will look like the A.I. competition sooner rather than later. In 10 years, the "natural look" will return to distinguish real beauty from manufactured or A.I. imagery.

I like much about the character and actor's performance. She could have been new rather than another derivative or reinvented character. It's similar to the fan-service-y nonsense that dropped "Rachel Garrett" into another show because the character was devoid of any other memorable qualities.

I don't have a problem with the character of La'an Noonian-Singh because of "canon" but because it is a sign of a lack of creativity in a show that promises to "boldly go where no one has gone before," yet keeps recycling the same stuff, like the only good Trek comes from Wrath of Khan.

After seeing Dr. Phil talk up ICE I have to remind people that he is one of a few comic book villains given flesh who had their origin stories penned by Oprah Winfrey.
