Johanna Ivaskasta akatemiaprofessori - InFLAMES-lippulaiva Suomen Akatemia on myöntänyt viisivuotisen akatemiaprofessorin rahoituksen InFLAMES-ryhmänjohtajalle, molekulaarisen solubiologian professorille Johanna Ivaskalle. T&K-lisärahoituksen tavoite on luoda talouskasvua. Akatemia toteuttaa sitä omalta osaltaan panostamalla tutkimukseen, jolla luodaan kasvulle pitkäaikaista ja kestävää pohjaa. Tieteen monipuolinen rahoitus on kaiken edellytys. Ilman uusia, radikaalejakin ideoita ei ole kehitettävää eikä innovoitavaa.
