I’m horrified by the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers at an event in DC last night.

The fact that the gunman said he did it to “free Palestine” makes me nauseous. Murdering people for their nationality is never acceptable and this violence hurts Jews, Israelis, *and* Palestinians.

Kady Grass, a 19-year-old lesbian who stopped in at a McDonalds in Carpentersville, Illinois when she tried using the female restroom and was beat unconscious by an adult and a minor who also used homophobic slurs. This is America 2025.

Mahmoud Khalil still has not met his newborn baby, because the judge refuses to grant him bail. Having clerked for a federal judge, I know firsthand that public pressure works. Send him a (polite) letter demanding Khalil be set free:

Madison man pays $1,500 to be in same room as Ron Johnson Activists wanted to attend a May 3 luncheon hosted by the Outagamie County GOP. The party refunded their tickets, and in at least one case, turned them away at the door.

Another insane story. The US has confiscated this family’s baby and put her into foster care, basically because the parents have tattoos — and deported the mom to Venezuela and trafficked the dad into prison in El Salvador. They have no known criminal record

Fascism finds foot soldiers because there are always people eager to follow orders and love it. And if nobody inside ICE, CBP, or DHS will stand up or walk out, then stop pretending the problem is just Trump. The rot runs deep.

We are past the tipping point. Vile, Vulgar, Virulent, Vitriolic.

Communities are organizing ICE patrols using radios and megaphones—but what we really need is an ICE alert website where people can share details of ICE activity in real time to help protect and inform one another.

Why the hell is Homeland Security targeting kids?????
