totally- why is someone spoiling their vote given more weight than me driving 4 hours to get back to Dublin to use mine? Why is media reading them as if this a valid why to use a precious democratic right ?

I need every journalist to point out that even if steen got the finger out and got on the ballot (she didn't), and even if all the spoiled votes would have gone to her (they wouldn't), she would have still come last

Remember Catherine Connolly is an independent, who won the support of parties. The problem for those who failed to get a nomination is not parties but not having a serious campaign.

This interview is very helpful in demonstrating just how poor a candidate Heather Humphreys is. At one point she’s asked how she’s found campaigning in a social media age and she literally doesn’t have an answer.The question has to asked twice

But this particular moment in it is eye popping.
