Tbh I feel like that and a lot of Romeo is a Dead Man's marketing were desperate attempts to drum up enough attention so NetEase wouldn't do something like this. Especially since NetEase cut their marketing budgets a year ago so the TGA slot was potentially paid out of pocket (if it was paid).

Pretty fucked up that a game can debut at The Game Awards and be seen by millions of people and there's still a 50:50 chance it won't even come out.

One thing I can't wrap my head around with the news of Sony moving away from PC is if it affects Bandai Namco and their recent Japan Studio remasters?

It would be weird to stop at just Freedom Wars, Patapon, and Everybody's Golf. At least let them do some kind of Gravity Rush 1+2 remaster.

Remember when Splatoon 3 got delayed so Xenoblade Chronicles 3 ended up coming out two months earlier? I think about that whenever a game's release date somehow gets moved up.

I think that that was the original plan and it's just worked out that way because they've had to shift gears to make the PS platform look more firm with the failed live service push and *everything* going on at Xbox.

Really I just hope Nixxes isn't in trouble because of this and that they continue to do these "second-party" multi-platform projects like Death Stranding 2 and Kena.

I have both positive and negative thoughts on this but there's no way this character limit would do either of them justice.

i feel like people going "the remake is worthless now" is the wrong way to think about things because having a remake/remaster and its original on the same platform is the most ideal things can be. and this is not the only game, link's awakening and pokemon mystery dungeon are others.

Koei Tecmo is investing in conversational AI for characters/dialog with the intent to use it in their games. Disappointing.
