Top: 17%
Middle three: 21%, 22%, 21%
Bottom: 19%

You are buying into a narrative which is simply not factual. There is data on this and it contradicts the vibes-based chauvinism that America's poor and destitute are disproportionately ready and willing to participate in objectively evil institutions for material gains www.cfr.org/backgrounder...

the military is disproportionately middle-upper class and has been ever since it became a volunteer force. They join because they want to blow people up from an air conditioned complex a thousand miles away with the same xbox controller they play Call of Duty with.

oh, just like the autocomplete on my phone. whole time I have to go to the store and get a new one for the first time in the morning and I will be there in a few minutes late night but I don't have to go to the store and get a new one for the first time I have to go to the store and get a new one

I love that my state senator sponsored a bill to effectively ban the sale of small, affordable electric cars in the US. you don't want to pay to fill up an $80k gas SUV? Buy a $100k Hummer EV that weighs 5 tons

teachers and their unions don't have "kidnap your family members and terrorize you in your home and place of work" type of leverage in negotiations, mostly

But you cannot draw the masses into politics without drawing in the women as well. For under capitalism the female half of the human race is doubly oppressed.

fair. in Micro because we're rarely doing anything truly urgent and it breaks Mychart and everything, we just take it as an opportunity to have a sit and take a long lunch in the extra hour, maybe pacify the BacTecs. God help you if you're trying to result or notify something though

yeah. double edged sword because they are legitimately a miracle drug for diabetics, my A1c has never been this good in my life, even when I was a teenager. But if I had the choice between a drug that works but has that side effect and one that didn't, I'd really prefer the latter

RIP to everybody else but I personally love to work 9 hours and get paid for 10 of them. If this country ever moves out of the bronze age and abolishes DST ngl I will miss the fun little back-and-forth

anything about GLP-1's having psych effects is absolute nonsense. marketing fluff. The reason you lose weight on them is because if you eat normal quantities of food with any regularity, they will make you miserably, food-poisoning level Ill. I'm still hungry all the time, I'm just also conditioned

so like. We're all on the same page that these monstrous assholes are doing it this way because they want to use the nukes, right. Not concerned with going off half-cocked on like a weeks' worth of stockpiled munitions because these demonic imbeciles are just going to start firing the nukes after

I've got 5011 other reasons to oppose the data centers umich is pushing, but I think we can add 'turning parts of Washtenaw County into a viable strike targets because we've got a Los Alamos AI cluster' to the list

I think they're getting into the time-honored tradition of freudian pseudoscientific bullshit "feminist" analysis. In which, yes, heteropatriarchal dynamics are the only mature, "evolved" ones to speak of

It's really weird watching a Jamelle Bouie discourse that doesn't mention the original Jamelle Bouie shit which is that after October 7th he just shut the fuck up about Palestine until 2024 when mainstream Democrats started saying it was ok to talk about

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
