Supervision of revenue-generating teams, particularly in football and men's basketball, is crucial for athletic administrators aspiring to secure the AD chair. Although women oversee 41% of revenue-generating teams, their focus is primarily on women's basketball and volleyball (80%).

Women’s teams will join men in getting paid for March Madness games, NCAA votes The unanimous vote by NCAA membership (292-0) was met with applause on Wednesday.
