on wednesday i moved the trash can next to the kitchen table bc i was picking ingredients i don‘t like out of a pre-packaged salad and now it just lives there i guess

my “AI is over” anecdote is that my wife was hired over the summer to write scripts for a big tech company explaining how to use their AI tools and after many rounds of revisions, the latest notes said “we’re finding a lot of AI fatigue among our users” and to remove all references to AI

i think cfs would explain most or all of my symptoms (and ebv infection can cause it) but i dont know how normal it is for fatigue to present 7 years after initial onsent of symptoms lol (and ebv is also associated with some autoimmune diseases inc. one that fits my symptoms)

the neuropathic pain, thank fuck, is improving on the b12 shots. raynaud’s in my feet is really fucking annoying bc it’s basically winter here already and the floors are always freezing

thankfully the severe sore throat i had the first few days has subsided and so has the worsened joint pain. i just can’t do fucking anything except rot on the couch or sleep

i don’t know a lot about autoimmune flareups but my friend told me his usually last 2-5 days and i’ve been sick for 2 1/2 weeks now. if it’s not either of those things i think it might be cfs but i’m really hoping it isn’t bc there’s no treatment for cfs

pcp thinks mono is “unlikely” bc reactivated ebv infections are rarely symptomatic. they can happen in immunocompromised people and i think that’s the most likely explanation bc this Really looks like mono

eliot health update: still have severe fatigue to the point that even sitting up for longer than 5-10 minutes is exhausting. blood tests showed mild b12 deficiency (could explain the neuropathy, have started b12 shots), positive ANA, past ebv infection. everything else was negative/normal
