pre-ordered the 10 year anniversary of nick and charlie because the cover and print on the side of the book itself is probably the prettiest thing i’ve seen. debating cancelling my pre-order to get a signed version for the same price instead..

not me calling in to waterstones and leaving with all sorts of heartstopper merch, then having a full on conversation with the lad on the till about it 😭😭😭

i think it’s more aesthetic but also with some elements of sensual attraction as i’ve no desire for anything to go beyond surface level really

the more i think about it the more i feel like aroace could be the label for me. i fancy people but do i want a relationship? not really.. maybe it is just surface level and it’s never really gone any further than that and i haven’t been bothered about it either?

do i try this label i think i am or do i think on it more? idk if i’m ready to label myself per se or if i even have a label as such. it feels strange as like i said i’ve always considered myself to be ‘normal’. the more i think about labelling the stranger it feels yet it seems to fit how i feel??

like i’m not saying i find women attractive, i don’t. the older i’m getting, the more i’m realising that for all i’m hetero and only like men, i’m just not interested in a conventional sense. my friend and i had a chat a few months back as she thinks she’s the same and i just keep thinking about it

it’s weird because before watching heartstopper, i’ve always thought of myself as a massive heterosexual and would never describe myself as anything different. i’ve never had any attraction to anyone other than men but the more i watch it, the more i’m thinking that may not necessarily be the case?
