Also since I view Fluorite as the crew's grandma, so do a bunch of other people, that would obviously mean she'd be more of a parental figure towards Rhodonite.

-too don't get me wrong!!! This is a good idea! BUT I've just always seen her give off "new/first time mom" vibes more than big sister vibes. Maybe that's just a me thing? Once she becomes a more confident gem, I could see her being the mama bear type of character and protecting the others with her-

-or that one cool friend the off colors pretty much brought into the family and are trying to listen to! Considering he's now a captain of a ship, they're all having to follow his orders.

I've been told by multiple people Rhodonite would give off more "big sister" vibes, which I TOTALLY see-

Padparadscha gives off vibes of being the youngest sibling who the mom has to keep a sharp eye on! And idk Lars gives off vibes of being either the adopted son of Rhodonite/grandson of Fluorite-

-a ton of motherly vibes, especially with how annoyed or impatient she sounds towards Padparadscha a few times in the series. And how worried she sounds with the crew in general.

The rutile twins give off more sibling-like vibes to me. The siblings that try to help out around the household, and-

Fluorite I view like the group's wise grandmother and Rhodonite like the worried, supportive, anxious parental figure who is trying her absolute BEST to be a good mom towards the group.
