We took our digital leaders to the Digital Process Manufacturing Centre in Irvine last week and they had an amazing time participating in a challenge to re purpose old wind turbines. We also met Spot the Dog and had a tour to see other robots in action. #EduSky #Robotics

Final session with Glencairn P5s & P6s last week in a 6 week programme of #DigitalSkills lessons. We looked at fact checking, internet safety, mis & disinformation, #AI & being responsible online. Pupils also had experience using @AdobeExpress to create posters for the classroom. #EduSky

Great to be at the National Music Education Conference yesterday at the RCS talking to music instructors about using iPads to support their work. Apart from Apple native apps we looked at various Microsoft apps especially OneNote and Lens. #MIEExpert #iPadEd

We had Bekha, a software developer as our guest at lunchtime code club today to talk about her job. It was a great insight into digital jobs.

Brilliant morning at our Digital Leaders event today where pupils experienced @spheroeducation.bsky.social Minis, Lego Spike, @roboticalltd.bsky.social and @doinkapps.bsky.social We wrote scripts on Pages and used presenter to help report on #VEDay

The furthest we managed was 72m.

You can re-program the coloured tiles using the app. There are extra directions, lots of celebrations and the ability to code musical notes to each colour.

First time using the Indi app with a group of pupils today. They were delighted with the music making ability! #EduSky #Coding @spheroeducation.bsky.social

They are meant to work further outdoors as there are no obstructions like walls. Also no other digital devices to cause issues. The three biggest distances were 69, 72 and 73m.

Tried a variety of Radio Game programs today with pupils. Since the weather obliged for once we tested the distance the #microbits could still communicate with each other in the playground as the classroom wasn’t big enough! #MicrobitChampion #EduSky

Lovely day at the @digitalxtra.scot Showcase event in @skyscanner.net offices in Glasgow, demonstrating our digital equipment and networking with other recipients of the grant.

Lovely couple of days in one of our primaries. We took photos and estimated sizes then used the measure app to check our estimations. Some classes made Pages books while P6/7 made movies with their photos. #iPaded @edusky.bsky.social
