Since being taken over by a huge and rapidly growing private equity backed chain (Kids Planet) my youngest daughter's nursery has gone from "good" and "outstanding" to "requires improvement" in all areas in just two years.

I dunno, having a look I think some of that grumbling comes from people encountering this system for the first time (the whole 30 hours only being for the school term time—so most parents only recieve 22 hours a week—is often a shock for people expecting a much bigger discount)
