That sounds like a great plan. I deleted my news apps and maybe check in once a week for news updates, and even then I only scan headlines. I can’t get wrapped up in the daily soap opera of politics.

I have been watching his commencement speech at least once a year for quite a while because it is so inspiring. Now I feel so conflicted about being inspired by him.

Stream of conscious writing is how I found my writing voice. But I can’t keep up with the speed of my thoughts when writing on paper. Legibility gets bad and my hand cramps. I have to be on a keyboard to keep up.

I love Scrivener. It’s so easy to create separate chapters in the sidebar, making it a breeze to navigate when doing revisions. And easy to print the entire manuscript. I can’t imagine using anything else for novel writing.

I’m thrilled with Bluesky. My feed is fun. It’s great to see writers and agents here. And so far I’m not bombarded with politics and news. I’m here to be inspired by and interact with creatives.
