What is this garbage opening translation. Stop re-interpreting it to things the words don’t say. “Today a cucumber, tomorrow a clam” – Completely wrong And then they repeat the same lines, and now they’re translated differently. “What’s his is gone” – completely wrong, “What’s hers is here” – completely wrong The opening was not translated, it was just made up to suit the political views of the writer. There was no mention of pronouns and there was no mention of “queer new world” either.

First, if you train your ears for 5, 10, or 20 years, you will improve your sensitivity and will be able to appreciate the little details of the sound experience, especially if combined with my second reason. Second, let’s say I have a $500 audio system, and in 10 years I can improve to a $50000 one. Why the fuck would I choose to limit my experience by software? Is it not better to limit it by my hardware? It’s like defending hardsub. Third, and maybe the most important of all, is it worthy of the memory save? My Opus project is 100 GB, and my FLAC is 105 or 115? Does it really matter? If it was 200 GB with FLAC, I would consider it, but defending this little? Are you guys that desperate for space? Or do you just want to reinvent the wheel and are trying to be different? For example, I never download BD Remuxes because I don’t feel that the monstrous size of them is worthy at all. And a quality encode with proper filtering is better anyways compared to the raw video.

I understand the complaint. My japanese vocabulary and grammar is intermediate but I still use subs since my listening skills are on the low end (especially when someone is talking fast), so it's jarring when I hear an english loan-word and see it still get "translated."
