No one asked but my grandmas were both stay-at-home. This was back in like the 30s when that was basically your only option. Italian grandma loved Frankenstein and Swedish grandma loved reading.

Polish grandpa was not drafted bc he was an essential worker. Italian grandpa was drafted into both the Italian and US armies during WWII. He picked the US. Smart move.
