I was born into a household to conservative to acknowledge politics. I was raised so Christian that other Christians weren't Christian enough.

I found empathy, compassion, and value community. If I have even the smallest chance to share that shift with anyone else, I will.

To say I'm intimidated is an understatement. Many amazing writers, creatives, political experts, and philosophers are addressing the collapse of our democracy in real time. I don't know if my words will add anything meaningful to the collective.
