And I do know it's not for everyone, really, and myself I'm the absolute softest you may get a person to be - but in size, the big needs to be bigger than something I know. More important than something I know. More sacred than something I know.

Kinda need it, to be honest. It's not 100% of the appeal, maybe not even 90%, but it's easily most of it. The more important the place - in any context - the better it is, no real limit.

It goes hand in hand with "the lorge is above any meaning the smols may give to what was under their footprint".

Amazing. Did my own footprint for it, obviously enough. No levelling up option for sandbox, though? Setting a fixed size is nice, but steadily growing footprints are peak.

Personally - and I emphasize this - it's just a weird way to imply freedom and superiority. The girl (or boy, or -anything- to be honest) is just... above. One single step erasing a continent, and it elicits no response aside from enjoyment. She can do anything, everything, to be happy. She's free.

Kinetic energy is mass, times speed squared. So, twice as large? Mass twice twice twice greater, speed twice greater, -squared-.

Energy? -Quintic-. Such a nice word. Quintic. 100,000 times larger, 100,000x100,000x100,000x100,000x100,000 times more energy. The end of the world in one step (of many).

Height? Linear. Double the height, double the height. Boring.
Area? Quadratic. Double the height, soles four times as vast. Starting to be interested.
Mass? Cubic, of course. Square/cube law by definition. Twice the height, eight times the mass. Tasty.

Energy? Hohohohohoho.

And what, if she's double that, 54,480x, is it twice as powerful?

Nope. 2^5 times more powerful - that is, 32 times stronger. When the square/cube law meets the kinetic energy equation, stuff goes very wrong very fast.

A reminder that this is actually a pretty small size, because energy scaling is boooonkers unless the girl is moving at the same absolute speed as a human (which is, glacially slow). In that case, the scaling is merely catastrophic.

If she's just moving, being 27,240x is enough to match its output.

Chloe evidently forgot to eat and took what was clearly the most logical course of action.

I guess we now know why she's so busty.

In the end I have to say this one. It's not flat-out your best - you've improved much in the intervening months - but there's just something about "giant unbeatable creature rampaging except there's countless of them" which just hits so good.

Forgot to post the link to the AO3 version of the growth drive's latest chapter. It almost four thousand more words of growing fops, with a hint of things to come. Give it a read.

Be the change you want to see in the world. You have a pen and a vision of large Hatterenes - go and have them vibe check cities full of panicking (noisy!) mites.

Holy -hell- this update had teeth. I wanted to include Kou's whole thing to sorta realign the drive, but uh. It was 3800 words already.

More than that, the idea of going again and again kept fighting me. So, here is it! No poll, as it will go to Sui automatically as the last one. Enjoy!

She barely sees those distant shapes tearing through the land, mountains flattened by lazy repositioning. A great wave of dust around her legs underlines its destruction.

Then the moonlight stops bathing her and everything around her. She gulps before an overwhelming wall of sound slams into her.

She freezes. -Something- is visible in the distance, in the corners of both her eyes. Something that towers far above her, so far that she almost doesn't notice her own line of sight is going up by a non-inconsiderable amount. She's almost afraid to look - up, back, to the sides. Who is it? Who?

And You, caught mid-roaring laughter, feels the snapping of a rope as the storm is pulled away from her. She doesn't stop, for a moment, though the outburst weakens in confusion.

Then the great rumbling reaches her, many minuscule anthills exploding into dust around her without having been touched.

Yuel and Societte's lovebird moment is roughly interrupted by something shoving the Abenobashi Terminal Building on them, showering them in exploding glass and steel as the skyscraper is toppled like a pile of dust.

Sui looks up as the stars disappear over her, a small, knowing smile on her face.

Those few who had managed to escape the stadium look back in abject terror, without knowing how or why. Some try to turn and run, others stare blankly as they try to process what that primal fear is.

In the space of a heartbeat, a wall of flesh runs over them and most of southern Osaka.

As his breathing gets rougher, as the air is filled by distant laughter from the great fox, everything around them - the stadium, the streets, their very bodies - starts thrumming with the deep, overwhelming vibrations of drums.

His mouth opens in pleased moaning, and the storm is finally on him.
