I'm still kinda holding my breath, but as soon as the bank tells me my mortgage is approved, I think i'll finally be able to rest easy!! it should be a few days, a week top, now!!

i have decided to treat myself and order a stupidly expensive desk, BUT HEY, it's larger, and it has amazing cable management, so at last my desk will be clean!!

I am like...a few days away from having a confirmation of my mortgage, but each passing day makes me more anxious and honestly the stress is getting a little too much,,,

to be fair, it's not very different from normal-sized airfryers-

I have SO MANY PLANS to build my network setup once I move.

back in 2022-2023 I did stream a lot as a vtuber! Was only a lil gig for funsies, but I enjoyed it a lot!

As I should be more at ease post-move, it's a good occasion to start again!

It kinda sucks, because since I did promise I'd stream again, I'm kinda committed (and I think I'll have fun!), but as such, it's enough to prevent me from dropping windows forever, which is regrettable.

I maaaay have to keep it around as a dual boot for now.

the only actual downside is:

If I return to streaming, I wanna have ~fun~!
And OBS is awfully limiting in that department!

I found a smaller streaming software that is incredibly more configurable when it comes to doing crazy stuff in scenes, but...well, it's windows only, and I haven't managed=>

after roughly a week:

- I can do on linux everything I did on windows
- Krita looks to be a very servicable photoshop replacement (to be tested further)
- DaVinci resolve looks to be a servicable premiere replacement for my needs
- OBS is linux native and allows easy streaming!

played around with Krita, had a quick look at DaVinci resolve.

given I'm neither an artist nor a professional video editor, I think both should be enough?
Now I only need to see if I can set up streaming, and I'll be golden!

Actually I can't quit XIV yet because I haven't even written anything with Jubi saying "67" and that feels wrong

Honestly, so far, Linux is just really pleasant to use!
