Anime Central was a convention with *no* issues. Absolutely none. All my photoshoots went smoothly and I am so excited to begin editing those. This past weekend also opened my eyes to some changes I'll be making to my photog business. No changes will be made in 2025, tho

I'd say it's the battle between photos and text, but tumblr is that way, too? There's definitely SOMETHING about this layout that makes us not want to use it as a photo-seeking app

I'm finding it so hard to manage all these social sites, too. I have a personal IG, photog IG, IG for my cats (lol), a personal bsky, this bsky, a tumblr...

as much as I enjoy bsky for brain dumps, I just don't like it for photos. I don't even seek out strictly photography on here 😅

I'm really curious - who still uses tumblr, and would a photography tumblr be worth it 😂 I was a tumblr girlie and other than (the original) Instagram, that was the best place for sharing images. A legit portfolio! With drafts and queueing! Maybe I should make one just for my cosplay portraiture

I know I should post if I'm proud of the set, regardless if I get a reply or not, but it's still discouraging because I see when folks open the emails

Is it a thing now to not reply to photogs when they send photo edits? A number of people just haven't replied from both MAG & Katsu and it's like...okay guess you hate them 🥲

Probably won't be noticeable here, but I am taking a wee bit of a Business Social Media break this week. Other than to answer DMs about photoshoots, I won't be checking on Buisness accts until Friday. Posts are queued up on IG; wish I could do the same here!
