Depends on the nature of the contract. Generally universities own the copyright to some works produced by their faculty. When you work for a major institution they often own part of your creative or research output meaning they can do as they please. This might just be the school being polite.

The majority of web traffic is already bots. How much interaction in the web is bots is unknown. Kind of inevitable really because how difficult it is to detect, prevent, and block. Too much money to be made.

I am a new media artist kinda making whatever, mostly silly and dark stuff.

Parrish is underrated and definitely a great artist from our parents and grand parent generation. Daybreak is still considered one the best prints of all time and is the best selling print of the 20th ce.

Looks a lot like the laws they use to keep strong state control of the internet and social media. Through selective enforcement China limits use and development to state or state backed entities. That law is disingenuous and designed to make them look good when they nuke a private company.
