Everybody is looking for a quick fix when there is none.
However, it helps if you have a sound strategy & good policies to develop!
Indy would be a good starting point for Scotland.

Things have changed since the 2011 vote. SNP dominance of the constituency vote means SNP list votes are wasted.
SNP1/SGP2 is to be encouraged to max the Indy majority in HR.

TBF (& I don’t like being fair with SLab), most people were screaming out for “change” in 2024 due to terrible Tory Govs.
I was doubtful about the Labour message & so it has come to pass; even I am surprised at how poor they have been.
Now RefUK for “change”🙄.

They’ve been saying that since 2016!
If WM still says no after HR26, then SNP/Greens need to emphasise “democracy denial”, no route to leave UK & campaign openly for Indy building to GE29.
The bigger the SNP/Green majority at HR26 the better.

I believe this is different. The unionists are running out of road.
I always thought that the Scottish electorate had to experience one more poor Labour gov before Indy could be considered again.
We are now experiencing that scenario & we need to take advantage.

The “majority” issue will be resolved at HR26.
The “permission” route needs to be progressed (due to precedence) but we know it will be refused.
At this point, we are in new territory & an alternative route agreed eg SNP/Greens campaign on Indy ticket for GE29.

I would 🤞 there would be greater cooperation over Indy between the SNP/Greens over the next 3 years for the reasons previously stated; no “can” kicking.
In the meantime, SNP/Greens need to govern but they could use this period to emphasise benefits of an iScot.
GE29 then becomes the catalyst to Indy

I agree but they had various options available.
They chose this option because it happened before in 2011 & there was a historic agreement for an indyref.
We know WM will ignore “any” majority, but SNP/Greens need to use this to their advantage & build/campaign for Indy towards GE29.

I live in hope too.
I think this time is different; poor Labour Gov, Tories in disarray & RefUK lurking in the wings.
GE29 crucial with big campaign push for Indy via SNP/Greens.
Only worry is “our” media.

Don’t rule out Indy being a priority if their is a large combined SNP/Green majority!
