Being white is not an accomplishment. I didn’t accomplish this. I was born white. I have earned nothing by being white.

I think that’s cool, but in Carl Sagan’s viewpoint, it’s just “star stuff”, and it’s so old the human mind can’t even comprehend it.

I heard a story this morning about a group of bicyclist that were native Americans riding the northern trail of tears. Every morning they get up and pray before the ride. The people that oppressed them at that time use Christianity to “tame“ the savages. I don’t know how they can reconcile that.
