I write cozy romantasy with protagonists who take time to get to know each other. Now querying contemporary romance! I’ve also published Bread Science and a bicycling memoir. I edit science papers and I live in fear of my cat. https://janebuehler.com

This was another reason she avoided people. Especially men. Sometimes when they talked to her she sensed their interest floating in the air but she couldn’t describe anything concrete to tell them to stop doing. But she hated how that interest felt on her skin and swirling around her, and she never knew how to answer their questions.
Today's #fridayfling is *question* so here's a scene from my upcoming (March) cozy romantasy, The Magic Seeker...

They lost a little bit of color when they dried, but you can get it back by brushing paraffin on them.
