So far I've enjoyed this place to collect info and get some feel goods, but there is zero discussion I've noticed. It feels very echo chamber. I'd like someplace I can at least have some debate on. Are there any suggestions? Be it other sites or just certain areas of this site.

I feel like both boil down to a fear of change honestly. Changing the present via the past is "bad" because the present you return to is different. And things that could change the future also happen to involve changing the present most often.
