Just written a master list of all the tasks I need to complete for draft 2 to be put to bed. Lots of repetitions to amend and character development to be cross checked.

I'm about two thirds through the second draft now. One of the next tasks is tightening up my main character, Nuala: stubbornly independent selkie, academic and archivist. In the meantime I'm trying not to get distracted by new notebooks and pens...

Finally made a breakthrough with a plot 'dimple' in ch12. The difference that changing up the working environment can make!
