Despite the well-known benefits of being active, participation in sport and physical activity remains unequal across Scotland. The report reveals that poverty, geography, gender, disability, and age all play roles in limiting access, with those in the most deprived areas least likely to participate.

🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️ New research from Abertay University and University of the West of Scotland shines a spotlight on the systemic barriers to physical activity in Scotland - and calls for urgent reform.

This collaboration has strengthened Saltire Patisserie’s product development and sustainability practices by integrating scientific research into its approach - positioning the company as an innovator in Scotland’s baking industry.
