It reminds me a bit of the CIA funding the mujahideen to fight against the USSR. Here too, they might end up fighting something like the Taliban at home as a result.

But they'd rather even that than confront their own working class head-on.

That was clearly part of the thrust for importing all these migrants. Yes it was for cheap wages and a mobile labour force, but they then actively encouraged division through multiculturalism.

They would rather people be divided on cultural grounds and feel no allegiance to anything but themselves and/or their little identity enclaves than people be united by being workers, for instance.

It seems quite obvious that the UK and similar countries are deeply divided, but this has been more or less the intentional strategy of governments up till now.

It seems obvious to me that Mandelson was appointed because his shady links to Epstein clearly made him the best Ambassador to the US with Trump in charge. Clearly a feature not a bug.

Who would have thought that the Left and Right would finally come together over the murder of Charlie Kirk?

And yet here they are, all shouting in unison: "Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences."
