Fun fact: I started sketching this piece a few hours before Ep 8 to help with being jittery/excited while it was airing, and originally posted it on my first anniversary of properly engaging with this fandom.
So I decided to post it here on the show's third anniversary. Thought it fitting. :3

A reference for N's design in the Ghost Drone AU. He's wearing a similar coat to the one he wears in Murder Drones, except darker and its flaps buttoned up to hide his neck. A drawing the top left depicts what he looks like without his arm in the way. Another near the bottom left depicts him looking rather disgruntled and with his coat wide open, to reveal silvery scars spreading from his core. A rendered drawing to the right depicts him with his head thrown back and his arms spread wide, presumably screaming his head off. The notes at the top of the reference read as follows: "- (gives N depression) oh no, who could have done this. - this new coat apparently has more material than the other one. - Resident Murder Drone's Life Hyperfucked By The Narrative. - various different degrees of not being okay at all times. - can see robo-ghosts now and doesn't know what to do about it. - also a dad? but why? doesn't he have enough to worry about??"
A reference sheet of Ghost Uzi for the Ghost Drone AU! She's now primarily cyan/blue with white eyes and lights, as well as big glowing holes in her chest and on her head. Cracks are in her arms; black markings are on her jacket, arms, and trickling down from her mouth. Her hair flows upward almost like fire. A sketchy drawing depicts what her design looks like; another comic beside it depicts her catching a mug, both her and N looking shocked over it (with N's dialogue reading "You're holding it?!" and Uzi's reading "I AM?!" Under the comic is a note that reads, "she's not like the other ghosts, she can occasionally catch things"). The notes to the left side of the sheet read as follows: "- The white areas glow brighter than cyan/blue bits. - Covered in oil-like stains. - would most likely be set to 70% opacity." Another note underneath is, "Ghost Uzi Redesign (done by a friend, smiling face emoticon)."
A reference sheet for Beanie Elliott Doorman, a Nuzi fankid that features in the Ghost Drone AU. She is a small drone with yellow eyes and lights, messy light purple hair often pulled in a braid, the arms of a disassembly drone and the legs/body of a worker drone. Additionally, she has a tail with a glowing cylinder at the end of it, labelled as a "tail-light." She is usually seen in a turtleneck, a dark purple coat, a matching pair of boots; striped socks, and a matching beanie, labelled as her mom's newer hat that has no pom-pom. Part of her reference depicts her without it to reveal what the symbol on her core looks like (being a little face in a hard hat like a worker drone's, but with an x in one eye). There's a turn around for her head, where she's sticking her tongue out and wearing a very undiscernible expression. There's an image of her biting someone's hand, another of her looking excited with pink on the tips of her fingers. There's one where she has no hair or clothes; her arms are spread out and her legs are shaking. A third depicts how tall she is compared to her father. There are additional notes and various doodles around the reference; one of her braid, what her hair looks like in a ponytail, how her mouth is usually drawn, and her fly swatter (mentioned to be yellow)!!!
Ahaha yes, Ghost Drone AU stuff but it's here now.
It's an alternate take on Murder Drones that spans over a longer period of time. Uzi is dead, whereas N can see ghosts and has to raise their daughter on his own. Mostly. Technically.
