What am I?

That Pokémon Presents was pretty good. They certainly made up for that lacklustre Super Bowl Ad.

And Gen 10 Confirmed with what looks like a Caribbean-based region, fockin sweet!

I come in many colours
My petals are soft
Thorns guard my stem

What am I?

Indeed, I could have saved this for March, but it caught my eye.

Steps

1. Add the green creme de menthe, white creme de cacao and heavy cream into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

3. Grate nutmeg over the top of the drink, if desired.

Ingredients
1 ounce green creme de menthe
1 ounce white creme de cacao
2 ounces heavy cream
Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated (optional)

The drink of the week is: Grasshopper!

A green blast from the past featuring creme de menthe, white creme de cacao and heavy cream. Creme de menthe is a liqueur made by adding mint leaves or extract to neutral alcohol, after it’s filtered, sweetened, lightly aged and bottled.

Steps
1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.

2. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

3. Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink, then garnish with the twist.

Ingredients
3/4 ounce Hennessy V.S.O.P cognac
3/4 ounce Smith & Cross traditional Jamaica rum
1/2 ounce Heirloom alchermes
1/2 ounce pinot noir juice
1/4 ounce Velvet Falernum
1/4 ounce lemon juice
2 drops spiced cranberry bitters
1 pinch gold Luster Dust
Garnish: orange twist

The Drink of the Week, in honour of Valentine's Day, Love Potion Cocktail!

Created by Michael Pedecine, it’s an advanced riff on a Between the Sheets, a cocktail that, like this one, splits its base between cognac and rum, adding orange liqueur and lemon juice into the mix.

The drink of the week is the Pink Squirrel.

The Pink Squirrel is thought to have been first created at Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge in Milwaukee sometime during the 1940s. Original versions of the drink were said to use ice cream, creating something akin to a spiked milkshake.
