This pipeline of immigrant to resident to citizen is an essential one for the future of our country. We are not your enemy.

My family and I are immigrants from Poland: I was born in Wroclaw, though I grew up here in Fairbanks. I lived here under a green card until I was 18, when I became a US citizen. It was a very proud day in my life.

On March 7, ICE agents attempted to detain Srinivasan at her apartment, but her roommate refused to open the door.
