This piece popped up recently on the side of the Los Feliz Albertsons and I know ZERO about it but just really love the design. (Hopefully it’s not something awful because I think it’s very aesthetically pleasing.)

Instant fan.

The fries were excellently seasoned but limp shoestrings. I swear the art of the fry is dead. Would be a good base for a loaded situation.

Their “YERR” sauce is a *very* good burger sauce. Their “Italian Aioli” is fascinating and delicious. Olive oil forward. Herbaceous. Need to try with chicken.

The move when a Friday implodes.

I sincerely cannot think of a less provocative, less trolly thinker than Nelson whose whole thing is mostly just to insist that obviously true things are in fact true.

One thing I love is that LA likes to cosplay as NorCal during our (all too short) rainy season.

This week’s beer is a Russian River Damnation Golden Ale currently clocking in at 7.7%. Belgian inspired, this is in my zone for golden’s: hitting that sweet spot of wheatiness that I love from the type with a touch of the punch of a Trappist.

Man, I really do love beer.
