Alright, now that we've gotten that out of the way, it's time for some links! I will add to these as other official announcement posts are made.

Some housekeeping:
✨ To qualify as a sapphic book, a sapphic character OR relationship must be prominently featured. A book can be sapphic even if there's not a sapphic romance plot.

Sapphic main or POV character = sapphic book
Barely included sapphic character ≠ sapphic book

Again, to be totally clear, because I really want the most accurate total counts possible & a lot of people don't like/do giveaways for various reasons: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE BOOKS YOU READ!

The form is meant to be submitted multiple times (1x per book) so that I can easily calculate things at the end of the readathon. You'll have to give your contact info every time you submit a new book you want to use as a giveaway entry. If you don't want to enter, you won't.

FYI: there are a decent amount of questions about the book you read (bc I'm a nerd and want ALL OF THE STATS), but aside from a few basic Qs (title/author, format read) all of these are OPTIONAL. Feel free to scroll right past them if you're short on time or not in the mood!

To keep things as streamlined as possible, I've created a single Google form that will be pulling double duty to track reading stats AND giveaway entries. If you DON'T want to enter the giveaway for whatever reason, simply opt out at the end of the form

Even though I didn't actually have time to do this last year (sorry - life happens ), I love when readathon creators share fun stats/facts at the conclusion of their readathon - total books/pages read by all the participants, etc - and I want to try again this year

Obviously the aim of any readathon is to encourage people to read more books, but I've found this hybrid approach makes S.S. more accessible as people can participate however much they want or are able to. But as a bonus for those who do choose to read some sapphic books...

Something that makes #SapphicSeptember unique is that it's a readathon & photo/video challenge all in one. You can fulfill prompts by either reading OR posting content about a book that fits a certain prompt. You can also read one book to fill multiple prompts.
