I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

Also in meinem Beispiel ist der Rumäne sehr ambitioniert aber kann deutsch eben nicht perfekt. Das kann auch irgendeine andere Sprache sein. Der Kern der Frage ist, ist die Lektorierung bei einer ungünstigen Übersetzung immer noch leichter als eine mit DeepL? Mich interessiert einfach die Info.

Wenn jetzt zum Beispiel ein ambitionierter Rumäne, der fleißig deutsch gelernt hat, seine rumänischen Texte selber ins deutsche übersetzt und sie dir zur Lektorierung gibt, würden da auch Kontextfehler erscheinen, die jede Menge Arbeit bedeuten? Oder ist das viel leichter als eine DeepL Übersetzung?

Gary ist mir sehr sympathisch. Soweit ich das verstanden habe, will er den Kapitalismus reformieren, in dem er eine Vermögensumverteilung einführt. Das wird aber nicht reichen, solange die Machtfrage des Kapitals nicht geklärt ist. Wer Geld hat, darf nicht in der Lage sein, Einfluss zu kaufen!

Ja irgendwie, wenn die Gefahr besteht, dass Äpfel verotten oder so. Bei engen Kundenterminen greifen wohl diese Vorrausetzungen nicht, was ich aber nachvollziehen kann, denn das ist ja absolut menschengemacht.

Mehrzahl der Arbeiter dem Interesse weniger Unternehmer gegenüber. Warum sollen sich die Arbeitnehmer völlig kaputt machen, damit der Unternehmer sich noch ein größeren Swimmingpool leisten kann?
