Planting the ‘hypoallergenic cat’ seed in my parents mind in the hopes of gradually convincing them to get a cat 👀 (not because I want access to another cat, that’s a bonus, but dad desperately wants one and I think the company would be beneficial for the mothership but she has bad allergies).

Yeah we had a guy down the street who always had a beverage in hand and was 1000% on drugs, once he was your mate you were sweet. He’d randomly mow our lawn. He’s in prison now soo 😅 but I miss having him around! Mum’s just a bit of a panicky person so the less she knows the better 😂

Selling a wedding dress is harder than I imagined it would be. SOMEONE BUY MY DRESS DAMNIT! My parents have to move and I have no space to store it at my own house 🙃 (don’t get me started on trying to sell my giant bouquet).

“An autism diagnosis doesn’t change anything” oh but it does. God, it really does. It’s helped me understand and accept who I am, and be more authentically myself. And in the process, I’ve been amazed by how much this authentic version of me has been accepted and WELL LIKED by my peers. Liberating.

Just had Gucci play time before ‘time for ni-nighs’ (bed time, it’s called time for ni-nighs and she SAYS IT TOO) and she just had the most hilarious hissy fit and I almost choked because I’m sick but I couldn’t stop laughing and my own phlegm almost killed me 😂

My bird mimics mine and Shane’s sneezes and every time she does it I respond with ‘bless you’ EVEN THOUGH SHE’S NOT ACTUALLY SNEEZING. Had a coughing fit earlier and she decided to join in with her cough mimic also.

I had two days off work sick and then an RDO and then the weekend AND I AM MORE SICK THAN EVER. I need to return to work tomorrow but I may have to curl up under my desk and hide.

Yes that’s the one! I went once because I wanted to ride a camel and they advertised camel rides and THEY LIED TO ME TARAH THE CAMELS WERE NOT THERE. They are now though. Allegedly 😒

I concur - they broke into dad’s car last year and this year, caught by him both times. And other staff cars too.

Plus sides are being able to walk into my driveway and see fireworks a couple of times a week for like three weeks! They’re loud but they’re pretty. Unnecessary though, really.

A couple of times a year (or maybe once a year?) a fair comes to Bayswater North next to where my dad works, right behind where I live. Downsides are carnival staff breaking into the cars at dad’s work every year and fireworks every weekend which must be awful for the local dogs / wildlife.
