Sadly, I'm in no way surprise by this. Physicians are forced to spend way too much time in front of screens (electronic medical records, a.k.a. electronic cash registers) instead of talking to and examining patients. How do we realistically change this equation???

Brought this load of lumber home from the sawyer today. 2 mo. ago, this tree lost it's roots due to rain-soaked soil + wind tipping it over. I sawed out the best logs and brought them to the mill to be quartersawn. Next, air-dry ~1 yr, then kiln-dry and ready for furniture making.

Bruce looking ferocious! FWIW, he's a 13+ y.o. 10 lb (4.5 kg) Shih Tzu x Maltese with 1/2-3/4 of his teeth.🤣 Actually, he's chomping his favorite chicken drumstick knuckles. He prefers the knuckles and tendons over the meat! I have zero problems with that, especially at $1/lb for drumsticks locally.
