Oh I was also petrified!! But I applied to and got into WorldCon as a panelist before everything went full fascist, and it was such a huge opportunity I couldn't back out.

Thank God I've already decided not to go back there until the cheeto is gone, lol.

Oh my god the exchange rate. 😩 We spent $51 CDN on two burritos and two sodas at WorldCon.

WorldCon panel and the moderator didn't show up. Props to the amazing panelists who touched it out and made it work!

I had the same thing happen on our panel yesterday morning and we pulled through, but it's a nerve wracking experience facing a room full of people with no plan!!

Pleased to report dancing was excellent, as was the Martha Wells Q&A. What a meteoric rise, and so well deserved!

WorldCon has been SO GREAT so far! I've done three panels, all of which have gone so well, and had really great conversations.
