It burns me. I prefer whole grains! I love veggies and eat them daily! Alas, I like other stuff, too.

I might consider shopping there if it burned to ground and they let people sift through the cinders for free. Oh, look, there's a fork stuck in it!

Every so often at work, a deer will get hung up in the security fence, just a little too high for them to leap. They eventually struggle free but it's awful until they do, and unsafe to help them.

I won't argue, and I didn't mean it in a derogatory way -- but English as we know it is a remarkably polyglot assemblage, stuck together over time by people who needed to communicate and were happy to borrow, accumulate and adopt bits from any other language that could get the job done.

English, as a language, is composed almost entirely of stolen goods. We even stole words for things we already had words for!
