After work, I usually do some personal sewing to wind down. Tonight I did something a little different -- a little kakapo painting! I think I'll keep doing little paintings, this was nice :)

A very plump, smooth-skinned, brown toad with a rounded triangular shape! They have a large flap of skin on their back that is almost covering their eyes!

Our friend the Eastern Narrow-mouthed Toad is a small toad who lives in the eastern United States from Maryland to Florida! They love to eat ants and have developed a fold of skin on their back that can extend to cover their eyes to protect from bites while feeding! (photo by Dominic)
