I don’t think there’s anything majorly untoward about the contract situation in general as it’d be daft from any perspective to renew before we know where we are playing next season.

But I also don’t think it gets renewed unless the talks favour us more than they did in 2023.

I didn’t see the line up til I got into the ground as I’d already entered the signal deadzone and the way my heart sank.

Our ownership is odd because they seem professional enough, but for some reason, I just don’t trust them or maybe I just don’t get them because they’re more hands-off.

Yeah, I do wonder how sturdy their middle section is. Up to December, they’ll have been seriously considering the situation so it depends on how the uptick in form impacted their plans. Most clubs surely always have sight on their next manager anyway, for a host of reasons.

Yeah, I think a lot of fans just weren’t around for that so there’s an idealistic view of Leeds being a feared competitor. It’s like that with a lot of things - like being in the Prem, expanding the ground etc. The idea is not the same as the granular detail.
