We cannot accept a future where rural areas are treated as an afterthought - I was proud to submit a 4,000-strong petition to parliament calling for inpatient beds to be retained at the Ellen Badger in Shipston-on-Stour.

All veterans deserve comprehensive and tailored support, particularly in relation to housing and mental health services - my question to the minister 👇

I will be voting in favour of #CANBill which would put the UK on course to meet its international climate and nature targets.
The Bill represents our best chance of protecting our natural environment and building the clean-powered industries of the future. 🌍

We can't let British democracy turn into a plaything for overseas billionaires with short attention spans.

At PMQs, I urged the Prime Minister to work with us to make sure power always sits with the voters, not wealthy foreign oligarchs.

The climate-nature crisis is the greatest, long-term, global challenge we face. But we now need a joined-up plan to tackle the root causes of this intertwined crisis. I'll be proud to vote to progress the #CANBill on 24 January at its Second Reading.

Extreme weather events are only becoming more common, and sports clubs are losing access to their facilities as a result.

Last week I was presented with the residents' petition to save the Beds at the Ellen Badger Hospital in Shipston. The petition will be presented to Parliament in the House of Commons soon. More than 4000 signatures were gathered, sending a clear message that we want our beds back!

These findings show just how much carers contribute to our society, but also how hard it is for carers to get the support they need.

The government now needs to fully recognise the critical role carers play and end the years of neglect under the Conservatives.

I recently met with the Federation of Small Businesses to hear about the challenges facing businesses in #StratfordonAvon including rise of employer’s NCIs, lack of transport connectivity, the current business rates regime. I hope to host regular surgeries soon with our local businesses.

The Climate and Nature Bill is the best chance that the UK has to reverse biodiversity decline and implement stronger climate action. I’ll be attending its crucial second reading vote on 24 January.

While the Conservatives undoubtedly left this government a dire fiscal inheritance, that's no excuse to push more pensioners into poverty as the temperature plummets.

Cutting this allowance will drive more vulnerable older people into poverty, forcing them to choose between heating and eating.

"OBR figures suggest that the increase in NICs will cost more to social care providers than the money that the government has announced for that sector in the budget."

Daisy Cooper has implored the government to protect health and care providers from the NIC hike.

Warwickshire County Council leader demands updates on A46 bridge project The £38m plan to build a bridge over the A46 was due to be completed in 2022.

Richard Dickson, a (Liberal Democrat) Warwick district councillor, made a scathing assessment of the project at a meeting on Thursday.

The planned £38m bridge over the A46 Stoneleigh Junction was due to be completed in the summer of 2022.
