Something I've realized I need to do when making my game is... if I know HOW to accomplish something but keep searching for the "best" way, I should stop and just make it work ASAP.

I can clean or fix it later if it's slowing my development speed or not working.

The text that gets displayed is randomized nonsense it pulls from a table of words I put together.

Some boring under the hood work got done, but there was at least one visual thing I added.

A target must be scanned for three seconds before being able to capture components from it, the first scan.

So now there's a nonsense tech UI to go with that.

One useful exercise I started in 2025 was that after playing a game, I wrote a short reflection examining:-

- What was successful
- What did I think could be improved
- What takeaways were there for my own work

This is a central theme in my upcoming game. I believe we are made into better people if we're able to reflect on how our challenges are pushing us to grow.
