Yesterday I placed a solargraph pinhole camera below the high tide line along the Boston waterfront. I know there's a very good chance the water damage will completely eat away and destroy the paper negative'a emulsion leaving me with no photo, but I'm curious to find out.

I'm trapped and under attack in Dubai - while back home in Chichester my daughters are furious, the labradoodles are sick and, worst of all, I left my Mounjaro pen in the fridge

You absolutely can and should. Beer/seltzer can pinhole camera is the way to go, point it anywhere but north for a month or two, scan and invert and mess with curves a bit. You'll be addicted.
