for those who don’t know, I wrote an e-book in 2014 about my long-term fandom of the club. But as the club became bigger and quite frankly more foreign, (I know I’m not English, but I am an anglophile). It became much more difficult to relate to them. Now it’s impossible..

The other point on this would be I’ve felt closer and closer to Everton the last few years. It’s the Howard Kendall/Peter Reid Legacy. There was so much shared history between City and Everton. So I naturally had a rooting interest in Everton also. And so that happened to me also.
