Nikita Chibrikov proving he deserves to stay with Jets When you’ve got a player making a profound impact like Nikita Chibrikov, you can’t just send him down because he’s waivers-exempt.  Chibrikov looks like a keeper for the Jets.

Three games into his NHL career, Nikita Chibrikov is a goal per game player.

But even if (when) that changes, the 21-year-old LW shouldn't be sent to the AHL once Nikolaj Ehlers returns.

The #NHLJets need a player like him.

The #NHLJets started the year on an 8 game win streak but they played just 1 team that made the playoffs last year. Then TOR punched them in the nose.

But their response to that loss - a 7 game win streak against quality opponents - shouldn't be overlooked.

Eric Comrie wasn't the reason the #NHLJets lost 4-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

"Can't fault him," Scott Arniel said.

Actually, we should applaud him.

Comrie was rock solid.... again. WPG's gamble on him is paying off.
